Custom Options — Blessed Arrows Bible Rebinding

Goatskin — Alran Chevre Native

Full-grain vegetable-tanned goatskin from the Alran tannery in France. The Native article has a distinctive deep wave-like grain that comes from the species and the stretching process during drying — every hide is one of a kind. Completely dyed through with an aniline finish, soft in the hand, and built for daily use. An exceptional option for bookbinding.

Goatskin — Capra Granulosa (Siegel Leather)

Premium goatskin with a natural grain and a soft, broken-in feel from the start. Unlike embossed leathers, the texture is created through a specialized shrinking process — giving it an authentic, distinctive look. Soft yet durable, refined and built to last for many years.

Cowhide — Badalassi Carlo Waxy Pull-Up

Full-grain cowhide from a Tuscan tannery in Italy with a long tradition of quality craftsmanship. As it's handled, the leather shifts in tone — this pull-up effect creates depth and movement, developing a look that is uniquely yours. No two will wear the same.

Cowhide — Badalassi Carlo Minerva Box

A more structured cowhide from the same Tuscan tannery, known for its smooth, consistent grain and excellent durability. Minerva Box has a firmer hand than the Waxy and develops a beautiful patina over time without the pull-up color variation — a clean, refined look that ages with character.

Nappa Lambskin
The inside matters too. We use Nappa lambskin for liners because it's soft, flexible, and clean. Every time you open your Bible, you feel the difference — it lies smooth, looks sharp, and elevates the overall build. Several colors are available, and additional options can be sourced if needed.

Page Dye

Page dye is the color applied to the edges of the pages. If your Bible has gilding, the color shows subtly beneath the gold or silver when opened. Without gilding, it becomes the primary edge color when closed — a small detail that helps tie everything together.

Page Speckling

Page speckling is a time-tested technique where paint is applied across the page edges in a fine pattern. We mix our own paints, so you're not limited to standard colors. Each result is slightly different — no two will come out the same.
